About the firm
At Ashe Advisory, clients work directly with Dan Ashe, a hands-on general counsel and commercial lawyer with 20 years of experience advising high-growth companies, financial institutions, media and data businesses, and cutting-edge technology firms across the business lifecycle.
Dan started his career as a corporate associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler working on a range of transactional matters before moving in-house to Bloomberg LP. At Bloomberg, he served as a senior commercial and benchmark regulatory counsel before joining the product team running governance, oversight and government relations for the index business. After Bloomberg, Dan served as the General Counsel of CoinDesk, supporting all in-house legal functions across its media, events and index businesses.
Dan brings a combination of transactional experience, regulatory fluency, and operational judgment developed across BigLaw, global financial markets, and the fast-moving digital-asset ecosystem.
An avid user of modern tools, Dan provides pragmatic, solution-oriented guidance designed to efficiently move deals forward, reduce risk, and help businesses execute with confidence.
